Chinese Women in History and Legend
Lu Yu, A.R.T.S. Inc., Market Street, NYC, 1981. 3 vol.s. Paperback.

The first two booklets give short, illustrated biographies in both English and Chinese of sixteen women from Shi Sheh (722-481 B.C.E.) to Tzi Shi (1644-1908 C.E.). Volume three is the Teacher's Guide with classroom activities for each biography and projects, ranging from one to several class period, involving the topic as a whole. It might be hard to find this small, three volume series, but worth the effort.
